Ein Lebensbaum voll guter Wünsche - und ein Anhänger "mit Aussicht":) "

 

A Tree Of Life, full of good wishes - and a tag "with a view" :))

Zunächst: Ich kann gar nicht glauben, wie viele liebe Kommentare ihr auf meinem Blog hinterlassen habt. Ich bin restlos begeistert! Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Hallo everyone!
First of all: It´s incredible how many lovely comments you´ve left on my blog. I´m really thrilled! Thanks a lot!

Es war dringend an der Zeit, wieder einmal meine Nadeln zu benützen und anlässlich des runden Geburtstags meiner lieben Freundin Susanna entschied ich mich, eine "Buch-Karten-Box" zu bauen :)). Abermals mit dem Motiv der kleinen Miss Ladybugs von E. Bell.
Leider gibt´s nur wenige Fadengrafik-Wettbewerbe, was ich ein wenig traurig finde, weil ich gestickte bzw. genähte Karten einfach furchtbar gerne mag. (Welch Überraschung *rofl*!)
Doch genug geschwafelt. Hier ist also mein neues Projekt.

Miss Ladybugs & Perga-Schmetterling/M. Ladybugs & perga-butterfly

This time I wanted to use my needles and to create something like a "book-card-box" :) - for my dear friend Susanna, who will celebrate a special birthday.
Unfortunately there are only few stitching challenges. Well, I think, that´s a pitty because I´m really in love with stitched cards. (Suprise, surprise *rofl*).
Enough waffled: Here comes my new project.

Der Anhänger "mit"....../a tag "with"....

....und "ohne Aussicht" / .....and "without view" :)

Twist of Faith möchten gerne Genähtes sehen, das mit positiven und aufbauenden Worten verbunden ist.
Ich entschied mich, die guten Wünsche aufzuteilen und an einen Lebensbaum zu hängen. Liebe, Licht und Kraft sind jene Gedanken, die ich meiner Freundin fürs neue Lebensjahr(zehnt) übermitteln möchte.

 Twist of Faith Card Challenges want to see "stitching (real or faux), and a scripture or uplifting verse or positive words."
I decided to "split" my good wishes and to make a "Life Tree" with the thoughts: "love, light and power/virtue".

Gestickte Bordüren erscheinen immer recht zart und filigran. Um diesen Eindruck nicht zu zerstören, kolorierte ich das Motiv nur sehr sanft.
Since I didn´t want to destroy the filigree appearance of the stitched border, I colored Miss Ladybugs in a very soft way.
