Sonniges Wochenende/ sunny weekend

Dieses Wochenende war ganz nach meinem Geschmack. Strahlend blauer Himmel und Sonne satt. Die Temperaturen sind zwar immer noch etwas frostig, aber man kann sich schon vorstellen, dass der Frühling nicht mehr lange auf sich warten läßt. 

Leider war ich die ganze Woche ziemlich angeschlagen und habe daher viel Zeit zu Hause verbracht. Hat es mich doch zu guter Letzt noch ereilt, obwohl ich den ganzen Winter - gesundheitsmäßig - der Fels in der Brandung war. Mich hat's richtig erwischt und ich steh immer noch etwas neben mir. Hoffentlich wird das in der neuen Woche auch vergehen und ich kann endlich wieder meine Liste angehen. Weisse Farbe, Pinsel, Schleifpapier usw. habe ich hier schon seit 10 Tagen liegen. Es gibt kein Entrinnen. 

Ich zeige Euch heute mal ein paar Fotos von unserem Wohnzimmer. Die Couch wäre wohl nicht mehr hier, wenn es nur nach mir ginge. Aber der Rest meiner Familie liebt sie und ich muss zugeben, das was mit vorschwebt wäre nicht so gut mit 4 Menschen zu besetzen. Das Bild über dem Sofa hat übrigens meine Mutter gemalt. Ich liebe die Farben.

This weekend was right after my taste. Bright blue skies and plenty of sunshine. The temperatures are still very frosty, but I can already feel that spring is just around the corner.

Unfortunately I was completely under the weather and spent all week at home. It hit me hard after being the last one standing - healthwise - the entire winter. I am still not my old self but surely this will pass over the next week and I can finally go back to my list. White paint, brushes and sanding paper has been lying here for the past 10 days. Now there is no way out.

I show you a couple of pictures of our living room. If I was the only one making decisions around here the couch would have been replaced. But the rest of my family loves this one and I must confess that my favorite couch couldn't house 4 people at the same time. The painting over the couch is from my Mom. I love the colors.
